Neurodevelopment
Success
Neurodevelopment is a structured and strategic framework designed to address and support the neurodevelopmental needs of an individual. This plan typically involves begins with a neurodevelopment orientation and screening to understand the baseline of levels in human function..
1
Orientation
Providing orientation of neurodevelopment foundations so individuals will understand the underlying factors when looking at human function and behaviors.
2
Screening
Conducting screening to identify the individual's auditory and visual processing level to determine baseline, history, strengths, challenges, and specific neurodevelopmental needs.
3
Sensory Strategic Goals
The brain wires itself through experience—especially experiences that involve movement, rhythm, touch, and real-world interaction. These sensory-rich moments are how the brain organizes information, builds regulation, and creates strong brain-body connections.

Screens, while useful in moderation, tend to shortcut those systems. They provide stimulation without activating the parts of the brain responsible for grounding, processing, and regulation. That’s why too much screen time can lead to challenges with focus, emotional ups and downs, sensory overload, or slower development. It’s not about blaming technology—it’s about recognizing what it might be replacing.

Intervention Strategies
Offer referrals to further address motor skills, visualization, conceptualization, social skills, cognitive abilities, and emotional regulation. Outlining specific intervention strategies that align and offer referrals to further address motor skills, visualization/conceptualization, analytical dominance, social skills, cognitive abilities and emotional regulation.
5
Timeline
Establishing a timeline for the implementation of interventions and the achievement of goals. Each set of sessions is a six-week time frame. Exercises are altered to a new therapeutic level when current goals are met, if the individual desires to continue to accelerate processing.
6
Collaboration
Encouraging collaboration among professionals from different disciplines, caregivers, educators, and the individual themselves toward the common goals. Effective communication and coordination are vital for the success of the action plan.
7
Educational and Environmental Intervention
Provide suggestions in regard to necessary accommodations in the educational and environmental settings to support the individual's neurodevelopmental progress. This may involve modifications in teaching methods, classroom arrangements, or workplace accommodations. ND program activities are included in the student’s IEP or individual reentry plan.

Step 2: Auditory Processing

Summary
Neurodevelopment is individualized and should be adapted to the unique strengths, challenges, and goals of each person. It aims to provide a successful foundation for future success.
